Isabella Barrett is an American child reality television personality and musician who rose to prominence in the early 2010s after winning a child beauty pageant. She was elected Little Miss America in 2012, and at the age of six, she won her first million dollars. By the time she was eleven, she had already won 55 crowns and 85 titles in beauty pageants.

Colby: Hello, Isabella; it is a pleasure to speak to you. Firstly, how has your 2021 been going so far?

Isabella: Thank you so much, my 2021 has been super busy. My new show Next Big Thing NYC on Amazon Prime came out in the first half of 2021 so we were super busy with zooms and online press.

Colby: You became one of the youngest self-made millionaires in the USA when you were nine years old; how did that feel?

Isabella: It definitely feels pretty cool to have accomplished that status but I think for me being successful is the overall goal. It’s nice to have money but for me the satisfaction of building something that other people love just as much as you is truly my definition of success.

Colby: You are a very hard-working star and one which many look up to as an idol. What do you think is the key to your constant success?

Isabella: The key to my success is hard work and being patient. You can’t always be looking for immediate results, just work and do what makes you happy and the rest will come.
I think another key is I’m just like everyone else. I am relatable and I love to laugh and have friends. Never try to be someone that you’re not. It’s best to just be loved for exactly who you are.

Colby: Can you tell our readers a little about your fashion line? How did it come about?

Isabella: My fashion label really started with a blazer collection called down by the crown Kotor. This helped me realize that there was really no one designing cute suits and blazers in the teens and young adults space. I’ve always been inspired by Chanel so making suits with shorts instead of skirts or crop jackets with cute skirts really seemed appealing to both me and a lot of teams my age. House a Barretti now has 30 signature pieces of suits for graduations, pageants, Interviews or just looking fabulous.

Colby:  Lastly, I can imagine you are very excited about your Times Square show on September 12th; how do you prepare for such a monumental occasion as that?

Isabella: Having the opportunity to showcase my line in Times Square and also have a Billboard really inspires me to keep going. Well, I love all types of fashion. There’s something about wearing a really cute suit people seem to respond to. When you have a house ready so be prepared to be stopped in the streets, It’s that kind of fashion.
