The Weeknd is giving us the goosebumps with his new release, ‘Take My Breath’. So much so, we are wondering if there will be a track from Canadian that isn’t astonishing.
The Weeknd maintains his position at the forefront of modern pop music with a magnificent flow that even the most adamant listeners will find difficult to ignore. It highlights the star’s natural talent while also casting a new light on his artistic capacity to reinvent himself regularly.
Quenches Our Desire
The tempo is upbeat, with a cheerful rhythm propelling the action forward. It isn’t a million miles apart from the hitmaker’s past releases, and it isn’t nearly as out of the box as we had anticipated, given that he had previously declared that he was ushering in a new age. But there’s something fresh here, as The Weeknd quenches our desire once more.
Overall, ‘Take My Breath’ is an instant hit from the first hearing. It’s infectious for all the right reasons, and the song is an earworm that won’t go away once it’s lodged in your head. Also, the changes he implements to his synth-wave style have paid off magnanimously. While there is a slight difference between his new and previous sound, it’s undeniably a move in the right direction, with his popularity set to rise even further in the future years.
