Everything I Didn’t Say’ by Ella Henderson – Album Rating: 5/5 ★★

The long-awaited second album, ‘Everything I Didn’t Say’ by Ella Henderson, is finally here. The new record from the Lincolnshire-born musician contains 16 gems and is the former X-Factor star’s first release in eight years, with her debut released in 2014.

It all starts with ‘Emotions’. A track that establishes the tone for the entire album and paves the way forward. Ella Henderson welcomes us with open arms vocally, her stunning vocal technique mesmerising us within seconds. Also, we immediately acknowledge that this will be a heart-pounding experience, and as the following tracks emerge, it is clear that we are in for an unforgettable expedition!

It Is Okay To Be Unique

‘Ugly’ arrives three tracks into the album, and it hits home with prevalence. Here, Ella speakers about labels, trying to fit in with others and feeling the need to conform to the status quo. However, Ella reminds us that we are all human and that it is okay to be unique.

‘Out Of My Head’ adds even more indentation to the encounter, and Ella leaps out with complete confidence! Also, ‘Northern Lights’ at track thirteen takes us from the world we are in currently. Here, Ella whisks us away to a calming space, the serenity flows from her every note, and the aura is breathtaking.

The album comes to a close with ‘Places’, and Ella wraps it all up perfectly with her vocal talent shining brighter than ever!
