Usher releases one of his most heartfelt tracks to date ‘I Cry’. Debuting the record for ‘Global Goal’, the singer hits home here.

It is a track with has a toned-down vibe with a steady backbeat and a catchy melody hook. Usher, also boasts his signature sound but yet wears his heart even firmer on his sleeve on ‘I Cry’. He sings with genuine emotion, and I could almost touch the sentiment which was dripping all over the mix.

It Is Okay For Men To Cry

The latest single from the 41-year-old has found influence from the Black Lives Matter protests. But, it is also a message to his sons. Furthermore, the singer wrote about the inspiration on his Twitter account saying the track is a message stating that it is ‘Ok for a man to feel emotions deeply and to cry’.

He also went onto say: “Like many men. I was raised to believe that we have to be ‘tough’ and not show our vulnerability, which I don’t want to teach them. While I was shut in during the pandemic and watching the death of George Floyd, the ongoing slaughter of Black men and woman, the protests and the events that unfolded, I became very connected to the wider universal feeling of hopelessness’.

Well, Usher, you have crafted the perfect track to deliver your communication. ‘I Cry’ is thought-provoking and deep in its delivery. The vocals fly high, and the melody comes with an infectious, catchy tune. Also, the track resonates well and proves hugely prevalent to modern times.

Therefore, even if you are not usually an ‘Usher’ listener, I reckon even you will get onto his wavelength here. You can check out ‘I Cry’ by Usher below. Also, let us know your thoughts to his new single on our social media accounts. We love to hear your feedback.
