American country musician Luke Combs grips with his release, ‘Forever After All‘. A smash hit that has taken too long to find its way to the GSGM camp, but better late than never, right?

It is a reflective release with Luke examing how most things pass by, but there is one thing that appears to last: his love and admiration for his other half. If you are a sucker for an emotional story, this one will slap you round the chops!

Forever After All‘ kicks off with a poignant overture. The guitar lead paves the way forward with a sturdy rhythm that stays somewhat distant in the mix. Similarly, a synth-esque melody coherently springs out, and it makes an appearance at regular intervals throughout the track; it bolsters the already piercing foundation which the track provides.

Vocal Ability

Luke is infectious with his vocal ability, and he smashes through his performance with utmost confidence. His voice is impressionable, and he invites the ears in with a warm tone. Also, he unleashes a compelling narrative that is instantly understood. Luke speaks about delving deeper into relationships and realising that some things do ‘last forever after all’.

Musically, Luke Combs does not hold back with many instruments and sounds rising out of the compound. Furthermore, as the track progresses, a piano arrangement adds even more sentiment to the piece. Also, the steel guitar takes on a new direction towards the closing stages with an irrefutable solo performance.
