‘Sun Come And Shine‘ by Jennifer Porter – Album Rating: 5/5 ★★★★★
Jennifer Porter’s latest album, ‘Sun Come And Shine’, is a soothing treat for the senses.
Jennifer’s enchanting vocal performance opens up a route to an ethereal universe with the album’s lead tune, ‘Sun Come And Shine‘. Her singing style is pleasant, and she draws the listener in from the first note.
We then move on to ‘Show Me Your Love‘, which features a peaceful overture with a tapping rhythm and a wonderful key melody. Jennifer’s vocal delivery soars yet again as she confidently bolsters her singing abilities. Similarly, the melody is entrancing, and the hooks ensnare the listener.
Blues Realm
With its top-quality, ‘When It’s All Been Said And Done‘ moves into a more blues-rock realm, and the thumping bass riff shakes the speakers for all the right reasons. In addition, a slew of new sounds emerge from the compound, with the guitar and vocals leading the way forward.
‘Satin Shoes‘, which slows down the record a little, serenades with a lovely soundscape. Also, the warmth in the mix wraps around the ears like a blanket. On the other hand, ‘In And Out With You‘ immediately flips the mood on its head with an energetic rhythm. Additionally, a plethora of voices appear in the back, producing a distinctive stereo sense.
The album comes to a close with ‘I’ll Be Here‘, which, like the rest of the songs on the album, does not disappoint. Jennifer’s vocals achieve a new level of clarity, while the guitar adds a ballad vibe to the mix.
