Merry Christmas’ by Ed Sheeran And Elton John – Single Rating: 5/5 ★★★★★

With their new Christmas smash, ‘Merry Christmas,’ Ed Sheeran and Elton John provide the feel-good holiday vibes. It’s a song that will undoubtedly go down in history, joining the long list of holiday favourites that we hear every year!

‘Merry Christmas’ is all we need right now! It’s not often that we hear a new festive track as fantastic as this one. But, given the calibre of both performers, it’s not surprising. Sir Elton John is one of the greatest musicians of all time, as well as Ed Sheeran, one of the most popular vocalists on the planet right now.

It all starts with Ed serenading our ears and whisking us away to a holiday party where we witness Elton John do what he does best: crank out a mighty exceptional piano arrangement. They complement each other vocally like a glove. Also, the song’s catchiness is infectious, to the point where it will raise your serotonin levels to new heights.

The music incorporates many traditional Christmas components such as bells and crescendos. They give it a nostalgic air while also setting the way for even more Christmas songs in the future! The refrain is indescribable and stays with you for a long time, a trick that the best Christmas tracks have been doing for decades.

The music video, which features big names like The Darkness, Jonathon Ross, and Michael McIntyre, is equally exciting.
