Each Blackbear single has quenched our thirst like a refreshing drink on a hot summer day. His latest release, ‘@ My Worst’ does not disappoint either, and it exceeds expectations right away with an adventure unfolding that forms an indent.
‘@ My Worst’ is even more catchy than his last single, which some may have thought was impossible considering his long record of earworms. The tune begins with a strong piano arrangement that comes and goes quickly. His distinctive hip hop rhythms then appear and accompany his intriguing catchy vocal melody.
Blackbear kicks off with vitality, getting a lot off his chest in a short amount of time, and his incandescent approach leads the right road to the powerful refrain! The chorus is ecstatically pleasing! The tone of Blackbear’s voice is commanding, and there’s no denying that his message is unmistakably timely. He discusses relationships and wonders if his partner will still love him if he isn’t the prince charming that they anticipate.
No Predictability On Display
The structure of the verse then shifts, giving the impression that the verse and chorus are two different songs. It’s a brilliant strategy that the best artists have been employing in recent years. It prevents any predictability from developing. Also, it gives the singer/ songwriter- a captivating edge when comparing him to other peers in the same arena.
