The Spice Girls are reportedly set to announce their reunion later today, ahead of a huge stadium tour next summer.

A video posted on social media this afternoon will apparently confirm the return of Geri Horner, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Mel C for a string of comeback shows in 2019.

However, the first photo from their comeback, which has been obtained by The Sun, confirms that Victoria Beckham will not have any part in their reunion.

Instead, the video sees the new look four-piece delivering a mock news bulletin which confirms that the UK stadium shows will go on sale next weekend.

“Girl power is back”, a source told the newspaper.

“This is the biggest music comeback of the decade and tickets are expected to sell like hot cakes when they go on sale at the weekend.”

The iconic girl power group initially split in 2000 after Geri Halliwell left the group.

They reunited for a massive comeback tour in 2007 and 2008, before their final performance at the Olympics Closing Ceremony in 2012.

It is also claimed that, as per previous reports, their first comeback interview will come on ITV’s Jonathan Ross Show. It will be recorded on Wednesday ahead of broadcast on Saturday evening.

Back in February, all five members of the iconic girl group were considering reunion plans, saying that “the time feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together”.

All five members of the girl group met up to reportedly discuss reuniting for the first time since 2012. The band are believed to have talked about working on a series of upcoming projects, including TV shows, endorsements, and a greatest hits compilation.

Emma Bunton shared a snap of all five of them together, captioning it “the future is looking spicy!”
