Nicki Minaj has recently left fans disappointed after cancelling a show in France on her world tour. Reports indicate that fans waited outside the Arkea Arena in Bordeaux on the 9th March. However the venue staff then explained that the gig was not going ahead.
This came after Minaj was seen earlier in the evening taking selfies with fans outside the venue and fans were left shocked to find out that their idol was not going to be performing for them.
However, Nicki has defended the reasons for the cancellation in a recent instagram video.
Minaj sets the record straight through her official instagram account. In the video, it shows her enjoying a cigar while delivering the message.
She said, “You guys, it’s not in my best interest not to perform, lose money and aggravate my fans, I love performing for my fans, I’m more excited than you are before the show. “These two cities that had technical issues are cities that I’d never been to before and we tried to add them but they just didn’t have the power in the building to facilitate my show and they didn’t tell us until three hours before the show as opposed to once we did sound check they said it was fine.”
