Katy Perry has just announced that she is pregnant with her first child.

It was revealed at the end of the music video for her brand new track ‘Never Worn White’. The lyrics hint at a potential wedding also with Katy mentioning that the pair are on their way to the wedding aisle.

The Popstar then confirmed the news in an Instagram Live post where she said.

‘There’s a lot that’s happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively to something, you guys have been waiting for.”

‘I’m excited; we’re excited and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.’

She also said: ‘While it’s not the lead single, it’s a good way to start. I had to reveal it [the pregnancy] at some point. It’s getting pretty obvious.”

Who Is The Father?

I am sure you already know, but Orlando Bloom is the father. Although it is Perry’s first, Bloom already has a nine-year-old son who is called ‘Flynn’.

Where Did It All Begin?

Katy and Orlando’s romance first came to light back in 2016 at a Golden Globes after-party. It was then only two months later that they had both become an official couple. But, they split up not long after, and by fate managed to reconcile and got engaged in around February of 2019.

So What Is Next For The Couple?

They are most likely going to tie the knot this year. Also, with a baby on the way, there is no better time. Plus, it is not as if they need to save for the wedding.
