DID YOU KNOW?At the age of 15, Rag’n’Bone Man began MCing with a drum and bass crew using the handle, “Rag N Bonez”, inspired by watching repeats of the classic 1970’s British sitcom “Steptoe and Son”.

Rory Charles Graham, known professionally as Rag’n’Bone Man, is an English singer and songwriter and is known for his deep, bass baritone voice. Born in Uckfield, East Sussex. After finishing school he moved to Brighton, East Sussex, and in 2008 himself and a friend formed the rap group “Rum Committee”. He started performing at Brighton based haunt, Slip-Jam B where he met people who helped him start his career. Over the next few years, within the group, they supported hip hop artist such as Pharoahe Monch and KRS-One at Brighton’s renowned Concorde 2 and also released their own album through Bandcamp,

In 2011 and deciding to go solo, Rag’n’Bone Man started working with UK hip hop label “High Focus”, releasing a number of recordings and a producer with them such as a collaboration with MC/Producer Leaf Dog, entitled “Dog ’n’ Bone” EP (2013) and a project with MC/Producer Dirty Dike, entitled “Put That Soul on”.

During this year he featured on Bastilles third mixtape, “VS.”, with British rock band, Skunk Anansie.

Rag’n’Bone Man’s first hit single, “Human”, was released Nn Columbia Records in July 2016. It peaked at number one in the Official Singles Chart in Austria, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. it was certified Gold in many countries around Europe. His debut album, also entitled “Human” was released in February 2017 and this album won him the BBC Music Award for ‘British Album of the Year in 2017. In this year he also won the ‘British Breakthrough Act’ and ‘Critics Choice Award’ at the 2017 Brit Ceremony. he also won ‘International Newcomer’ and ‘International Male Artist’ at the 2017 Echo Awards in Germany and was nominated for ‘Best New Artist’ and ‘Best Push Artist’ at the MTV European Music Awards in 2017.
