Calboa who found quick success with his previous track ‘Same Shhh’ is back with his new release ‘A Condition Called Loneliness’.

It is a track which delves into a happier realm for the artist with a rhythm and structure which will get you tapping your foot in little time. It is the feel-good indie which we all need in our lives. It is not the usual sound which we would expect from this artist, but it works, and it works very well.

Calboa is known more for his darker, less energetic pieces but ‘A Condition Called Loneliness’ has a more dynamic and more danceable rhythm which I am enjoying. For me, it is his best yet, and I am sure many will connect with the Hull-born musician more on this release than his last.

It all starts with a rhythm guitar section which comes fresher than a dip in the north sea. It also makes the perfect way for a killer vocal performance from Callum Blakeston. The music reminds me of ‘The Kooks’ with that typical indie sound which we do not hear a lot of these days. Vocally, though, Callum is in the space of his own. He speaks with his heart on his sleeve, and he never shies away from expressing his true feelings. I am digging this one, and I am sure you will too.
