BTS are driving pop forward with their infectious charm. The group are taking giant leaps with each new release and their new track ‘Dynamite’ ticks all the right boxes.

The band which consists of 7 members have released a pop treasure here, and it comes as you would expect, catchy with plenty of hooks which will attach to you like a leech. It kicks off with a warm lead gliding through before a tender vocal performance which pushes us forward tremendously well.

It takes influence from the best songs in pop and at many times it reminds me ‘Chris Brown’ and ‘Maroon 5’; however, there are so many similarities to several tracks. However, it is distinct to the South Korean band also with each member lending an unforgettable performance. I relish the feel-good summer vibe it boasts, although, I believe it should have made its way to the party earlier given its release late in the summer months.

Dynamite

The chorus is bold and upfront with the groups catchy ‘Dynamite’ lead line proving hugely contagious with firm conviction. As the track progresses, it builds up momentum. Also, a key change towards the latter takes us down a new route with the group stepping up for the ultimate finale.

Overall, it is a pop gem which takes plenty of hints from contemporary hits. But, it also delves deeper into the K-pop groups signature sound. Furthermore, they combine flavours of their earlier singles with a new direction which will catapult you into their world instantly.

You can take a listen to ‘Dynamite’ by BTS below. Also, let us know your thoughts to the new release by commenting on our social media accounts. Do you think this is the best track yet from BTS? Do you think it takes too much influence from pop elsewhere and should delve more into an original space?
