Bruno Mars has amusingly indirectly called out Ed Sheeran, for being a ‘Sexual Deviant’. This is due to a new Indonesian law which states that a total of 85 songs can only be aired between 10pm and 3am. The commission issued this statement on Tuesday (Feb 26), according to The Guardian.

This new law has not just affected the ‘Treasure’ singer with “Love Me Harder” by Ariana Grande, “Dusk Till Dawn” by Zayn Malik also receiving the boot.

The reason for the ban is due to the tracks apparently being of a “adult” and “offensive” nature. Furthermore, Rahmat Arifin, Central KPI Deputy Chairman said “In this case, what is banned is not the songs, but the lyrics of the songs that contain pornography, pornographic association, and obscenity.” Commission head Dedeh Fardiah also said some of the lyrics could be perceived as “objectifying women as sexual objects“

Overall, 17 Western pop songs have been banned, including “That’s What I Like” and “Versace On The Floor” by Bruno Mars; “Wild Thoughts” by Rihanna; “Mr Brightside” by The Killers; and Bad Things and Sangria Wine by Camilla Cabello, according to Metro.

Bruno Mars has responded to the ban in hilarious fashion through his official Twitter account.
