Before you listen to ‘Teardrops’, make sure that you turn your speakers up, LOUD. Why? Because even your neighbours deserve to hear this new gem from Bring Me The Horizon.

‘Teardrops’ is the rock track which any alternative enthusiast craves. It is bitey with a texture which will have your granny reaching for her Gibson SG air guitar. Also, the musical arrangement is unorthodox with a quality which we can only pinpoint to the Sheffield hitmakers.

Scratch Like A Dangerous Cat

It all gets underway with Oli Sykes reminding us which song we are listening to with him quickly dropping in to say ‘Teardrops’, well it makes my life easier as a reviewer for sure. We are then in with an electronic synth arrangement which scratches like a dangerous cat. The music then drops in an omnipotent manner with all the guns blazing and pushing forward with conviction.

Energetic and full of life, Oli then reaches for the mic for one of the finest rock performances to come out of the game in recent times. He sings with a harsh quality which will have you frothing from the mouth. Also, he has us clinging on for dear life with his delivery kicking us off our chair with his confidence and honesty.

Musically, ‘Teardrops’ is the gift which keeps on giving. Furthermore, the more I listen to it, the more I find myself gravitating into the band’s space. They are in a realm of their own. It is why they are one of the brightest rock groups in the modern scene. Also, for any fan who enjoys the more screamo side to the group, please wait until the latter because it will be medicine to your ears!
