Sorry to disappoint all Ariana Grande fans but we can reveal that Ariana Grande will not be starring alongside Meryl Streep in Netflix’s ‘The Prom’.

The film will also see Nicole Kidman, James Corden, Awkwafina, Keegan-Michael Key, and Andrew Rannells star.

The news of Grande not being a part of the celebrity packed film comes after the ‘7 Rings’ singer was rumoured to be included. However, Ariana will not have any involvement due to the extension of her sweetener tour according to Billboard.

Moreover, Deadline had previously mentioned that Ariana was set to play Alyssa. The character is a popular high school student and the daughter of the head of the PTA. They also reported that Ariana was going to produce the soundtrack alongside Murphy and manager Scooter Braun.

Unfortunately, this will not be happening.
