Amy Allen is hugely triumphant. But, I doubt you will know that she wrote ‘Back To You’ with Selena Gomez and also ‘Without Me’ with Halsey. Both of which did exceptionally well.

However, she has now come out from the dark side by dropping a gem of her own. ‘Queen Of Silver Linings’ is a stand out track with its elegant and gentle approach. An emotional record for sure and it mesmerises with genuine poignance.

Delicate

It kicks off with a delicately strum rhythm guitar and a top-class vocal from the rising star. It is a ballad which hits you from the get-go with meaningful lyricism, and it plucks at the heartstrings instantly. The track stays solemn for the duration with Amy Allen’s tender style gripping like a glove.

For me, it is one of the most exquisite pop ballads of recent times and proves the singers captivating quality. But, what makes it more impressive is that this is the singer’s debut. It is not often we hear an appearance quite as potent as this one. Also, it sticks out with plenty of originality while staying contemporary at the same time. It sounds similar to Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift, but yet Amy found her style quickly in her career, and she leverages it flawlessly on ‘Queen Of Silver Linings’.

Overall, it is a track which is tough to fault. I savour this type of record, and it is refreshing to find a new artist who flaunts extraordinary talent. As a result, I am eager to hear what else Amy has in store. But one thing is for sure; we will all be in for a treat with her upcoming releases.
