The singer-songwriter, born in Germany, masterfully blends the perfect amount of pop, electronic, and indie on her current track, ‘Hero.’ It’s a mash-up of several styles, with a nostalgic 80s vibe emanating from the synth. The cadence is highly engaging with a feel-good bass groove that synergizes perfectly alongside a syncopated drum rhythm.
Alice Merton’s voice is a breath of fresh air, and anyone who enjoys Marina And The Diamonds will most likely find Alice to be their cup of tea as well. She has a beautiful, unforgettable tone.
