Alex Adair, ‘Real For Me’ – Single Review
Tropical house DJ, Alex Adair gets the summer party vibes flowing with his new track ‘Real For Me’.
With his signature Ibiza isle vibe poking out, Alex hits all the right notes with this new infectious track. It kicks off with a chill aura with a beach beat which will grab you instantly. On top of the nail-biting rhythm is an angelic backing vocal which provides plenty of sentiment as well as nostalgia for good measure.
The artist who rose to fame after remixing some of the biggest tracks including ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran and ‘Say You Love Me’ by Jessie Ware has come up with a gem here. It is the perfect release to listen to while laying out in the sun. But, it is not just a feel-good track, and it has plenty of other qualities too. The vocal sample he has chosen makes for a refreshing listen which many will find hard to fault.
It is a mover which will get you tapping your foot in little time. The lead synth which appears mid-way through grips and does not let go. It has an EDM touch while also delving into a new space of its own. Structurally, it works well, with Alex transitioning between the sections tremendously well without the use of massive effects. For me, it is best to serve this one loud, and the more you hear it, the more you want more.
Overall, it is a real banger from the artist who hails from West Sussex. He has added all of his unique flavours while staying contemporary and up to date with the modern scene.
