VISTAS are one of the freshest bands to come out of Edinburgh in recent times. Their sound oozes confidence and their music is awe-inspiring. Luckily, we managed to ask the chaps a few questions before they board the train to stardom.

What Do You Enjoy Most About Being A Musician?

The 3 of us are best mates and have been since High School. The fact we get to travel to places we’ve never been before and play our music to people we don’t know, whilst getting to spend time with each other is the best.

Which Track Of Yours Means The Most To You?

Collectively it has to be ‘Retrospect’. That’s our most popular song. That song really kicked things off for us. If it wasn’t for that song we wouldn’t be where we are now.

The First-Ever Gig You Played, Can You Remember It? How Was It?

Our first gig was at Bannerman’s in Edinburgh on January 8th 2016. Our friend Chris Greig supported us. It was a great gig, sold out as well! We made sure it was a special show and got all our family and friends down.

What Do You Think Is The Key To Success As A Musician?

Hard work and believing what you’re doing is the right thing to do. We work so hard on Vistas every day to ensure we’re doing the best we can do. Being a nice guy goes a long way too.

If You Wasn’t A Musician, What Job Would You Be Doing?

We would all probably have jobs within music. Prentice would most likely do song writing. Dylan would do something creative – he designs all our merch, makes promo videos, posters etc. And I (Jamie) would probably work as part of crew so I still get the same buzz of being on tour.
