With comments that the Rolling Stones are a “blues cover band,” Sir Paul McCartney has gotten himself into hot water. We doubt he’ll be too fused, though, given his success and consistent adulation!
Speaking to the New Yorker, the Beatles legend said: “I’m not sure I should say it, but they’re a blues cover band, that’s sort of what the Stones are,” he said. “I think our net was cast a bit wider than theirs.”
