Nine Inch Nails, the American industrial rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, that was founded at the end of the ‘80s by Trent Reznor, have just announced their first live show of 2018.
They confirmed their forthcoming festival appearance at the Mad Cool Festival 2018, in Spain.

The band – that released the EP ‘Add Violence’ back in July (the second part of a trilogy of releases) have recently stated they will join the European festival circuit next year to visit the festival in Madrid in what is their first confirmed live gig of 2018.

Mad Cool Festival is a huge rock, pop and alternative music festival that despite only hosting the first edition in 2016 is already a major player in Europe’s vibrant scene.
This year, with the help and support of Madrid City Council, the festival will move from Caja Magica to a new location in the North of the city, namely to Valdebebas.

Organisers have added NIN to an already impressive line-up that features Queens of the Stone Age, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Justice, Fleet Foxes and Future Islands.
The bill of the Festival is expected to cover many more acts that will be announced over the coming weeks and months.

Mad Cool Festival will run from July 12-14 2018, with ticket details available at https://madcoolfestival.es/.
The capacity of the 2018 event edition will increase up to 80,000, with seven stages of live music in operation during the festival time.

Earlier this month, fans of Nine Inch Nails became convinced that Reznor played a living statue in a recent episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. This rumour started on Reddit and stems from just three seconds of airtime in which Larry David, his date and her son all visit a shopping mall and walk past a street performer – who many believe was played by the frontman.
