Following on from our article yesterday which saw Nicki Minaj cancel a show in France. It has now emerged that fans had actually entered the venue before being told the concert was cancelled. After hearing the news that the ‘Starships’ rapper would not be performing, fans starting booing and chanting for Cardi B.

One twitter user was able to capture footage of the aftermath of the cancellation news. She wrote ‘Another flop in the basket . Nicki Minaj cancels yet another show probably embarrassed by upcoming videos of the stadium being empty & on top of that your “fans” leave screaming cardi’s name throw the WHOLE tour away #NickiWRLDTour hang it up sweetie’

In the video footage, you can hear fans booing before heading into a chant for Cardi.

Nicki has released a statement since the event stating “You guys, it’s not in my best interest not to perform, lose money and aggravate my fans, I love performing for my fans, I’m more excited than you are before the show. “These two cities that had technical issues are cities that I’d never been to before and we tried to add them but they just didn’t have the power in the building to facilitate my show and they didn’t tell us until three hours before the show as opposed to once we did sound check they said it was fine.”
