This year Neighbourhood Weekender Festival will be returning to Warrington for it’s second year. On May 25th and 26th 2019, Victoria Park Warrington will be brought to life by some of the UK’s best acts, including a slew of musicians from the local area. In addition to Indie, rock legends, Britpop royalty will all be taking to the stage.
Neighbourhood Weekender Saturday Headliners
This year George Ezra will be headlining on Saturday 25th May. Ezra’s latest album Staying at Tamara‘s has dominated the UK charts since it’s release last year and he subsequently has won his first Brit Award in 2019. After a slew of sold out tours, his show at Neighbourhood Weekender is not one to miss.
Joining him on the Saturday are Primal Scream, You Me At Six, Nothing But Thieves and Tom Grennan. Recently, The Hunna have joined the line up, seeing them play alongside Maximo Park and North West England legends, the Manchester born Pale Waves. Yonaka, Maisie Peters, Shadowlark and more will be playing across stages over the day.
Neighbourhood Weekender Sunday Headliners
On Sunday night The Verve’s very own Richard Ashcroft will be headlining. He’s hot off the back of releasing his fifth hit solo studio album Natural Rebel. The Ivor Norvello winner will be putting on a spectacular show to close the festival.
Indie legends The Vaccines will also be playing on Sunday. They’ve just wrapped up a sold out UK tour, including two nights at the Roundhouse, following the release of their fourth album Combat Sports. Joining them will be Slaves, The Charlatans, Gerry Cinnamon, The Amazons, Sam Fender and more. Kate Nash will be performing alongside recently announced The Futureheads, for their first festival show in over six years.
