‘Somedays‘ by Mike Brew is one of those tracks which gets better with every listen. Furthermore, it is a release that stays well away from any status quo with the Liverpool man taking a route of his own; it’s stimulating.
The new release kicks off with an infectious guitar rhythm ahead of a sublime vocal delivery from Mike Brew. He instantly leverages his vocal prowess, taking hints from some greats, including Paolo Nutini.
‘Somedays‘ comes to life as it advances with the refrain leaving us gripping for dear life. Also, Mike recruits backing vocalist Steph Whelan for the chorus, and she melts the ears with her pleasant timbre.
