Megan Thee Stallion Pulls Out of 2023 Global Citizen Festival

The stage at this year’s highly anticipated 2023 Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park will have one less star gracing it, as Megan Thee Stallion announces her withdrawal from the event due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict.
The ‘Savage’ rapper, known for her fierce performances and empowering lyrics, was initially slated to be a headlining act at the annual music extravaganza, which seeks to combat extreme poverty worldwide by 2030. The event is scheduled to take place on September 23, and fans had been eagerly anticipating Megan’s performance.
However, disappointment rippled through her fanbase when it was revealed that the 28-year-old artist would no longer be able to participate in the festival. An official statement posted on the event’s official website, GlobalCitizenX.org, shed light on the situation:
“Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, Megan Thee Stallion will no longer be available to perform at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival.”
