Latitude 2019’s First Line Up Announcements

Henham Park, Suffolk will once again be host to Latitude Festival. This year’s edition takes place between 18th-21st July.   It will be the 14th annual exhibition of music, art, family fun and foodie feasts.

Last week Latitude announced the first few acts to be on the bill for the 2019 event.  The line up includes George Ezra, Snow Patrol, Lana Del Rey, as well as the beginning to their biggest comedy, theatre and arts line up yet! It will feature Comedy Stage headliners Jason Manford and Michelle Wolf.

Latitude Friday Headliner

George Ezra is making his Latitude headlining debut this year. The past year has been big for Ezra, with his second album Staying at Tamara’s topping the charts. ‘Shotgun’ being the song of the summer, as well as multiple sell out tours and more headline slots.

Therefore, George stated “It’s no secret that I’m a big Latitude fan. I’ve been to the festival numerous times as a performer and punter, so to be coming back in 2019 as a headliner – five years after my last performance – is a real treat. The reception to my second album Staying At Tamara’s has been beyond my wildest dreams. I can’t wait to rock up in Suffolk to play the songs for everyone. See you there!”

Latitude Saturday Headliners

Saturday night headliners are Snow Patrol. The absolutely massive band will be making quite an amazing homecoming.  The band originally headlined the inaugural Latitude in 2006.

Late nights at Latitude are renowned for being incredible, this year they’ll be just as impressive, with Underworld closing on Saturday night.

Latitude Sunday Headliner

However, in a UK Festival Exclusive, Lana Del Rey will be Latitude’s Sunday headliner.  Subsequently, this will be her first headline show in the UK since the release of her No.1 album Lust For Life in 2017.

Lana recently released three “fan tracks” to rapturous critical acclaim.  She is releasing her hotly-anticipated sixth album Norman F*cking Rockwell ahead of her performance at the festival.

Additionally, other announced acts include  Loyle Carner, Neneh Cherry, Sigrid, Tom Grennan and Cat Power.  Also playing will be Khruangbin, Pale Waves, Walking On Cars, Primal Scream, Slaves, MØ and many more.
