Ladi Rosa, the up-and-coming artist from the United States, paid us a visit!

Colby: You are already climbing up the music echelon at such a young age; what do you think is the key to success in music?

Ladi Rosa: The key to success is having patience with the entire process. Yes, some things can blow up overnight but that’s rare. Just remember that you have to work hard for things you want in life.

Colby: As a musician, where do you get your inspiration?

Ladi Rosa: I get my inspiration from artists such as Adele, Luke Combs, and Kehlani. I really enjoy the type of music they make and the messages behind them. It just adds to the song.

Colby: What was the first song you ever heard that made you go, “Wow!”?

Ladi Rosa:  “All I ask” by Adele. The piano, her soft voice, and the flow all combine so beautifully.

Colby: For any of our readers who have yet to hear your new single, ‘Dull,’ can you tell them what to expect from it?

Ladi Rosa:  ‘Dull’ is a song about a young lady who is over having her time wasted. Her partner is not giving the energy that she needs or wants. It also talks about how she must start putting herself before anyone else since no one is going to do that for her.

Colby: If you could have written any song, ever, what would it be and why?

Ladi Rosa: A song I wish I had written would have to be ‘Nothing like you’ by Luke Combs. It is one of my favorite songs as of right now! This song makes me want to sway from side to side and sing my lungs out.
