Ervin Munir, 'Carolynn'

This New Music Friday, we have a song to celebrate, thanks to Sheringham-based singer-songwriter Ervin Munir called ‘Carolynn’.

Ervin is thinking back to earlier times, and his words are full of love and passion. Promo materials for the song say that it is written from the point of view of a depressed person’s partner. Ervin does a beautiful job of conveying his story and capturing the essence of those pivotal times. His sound is unique, but sometimes it reminds us of Glen Campbell, who was another great crooner.
