David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Nick Cave, Kate Bush And More To Re-Release Classic Albums On Blue Vinyl In Aid Of UNICEF.

UNICEF are re-releasing 17 classic and iconic albums on limited edition blue vinyl to support their UK Children’s Emergency Fund.

This Blue Vinyl campaign will cover LPs from artists like David Bowie, Nick Cave, Paul Weller, BMTH and Kasabian, among others, that will be pressed on blue wax, therefore matching the colour of UNICEF’s logo.

Only 50 numbered copies of each album will be available.

Fans are currently bidding in 17 auctions in order to get these extremely rare reissues, 16 for each album individually, and one for all of the albums in the series. As at today, the combined auction has reached bids of £2,500. The interest in Kate Bush’s The Sensual World is the highest solo sale so far, with the current highest bid reaching £750. All auctions close on Monday November 26 at 10pm.

The remaining 48 copies will be available through raffles, each costing £5 per entry. Vinyl fans can purchase as many tickets as they like and get a free entry into the draw for every 10 tickets purchased. Raffles will be drawn on Monday December 10.

Paul Simon’s Graceland is not yet available to bid on individuallyalthough being listed in the combined auction.
