The Cornbury Music Festival will be returning to The Great Tew Park, Oxfordshire for it’s 2019 edition. From 5th-7th July, you can experience great music, amazing food and take in a slice of British culture.
This year’s Friday headliners are The Specials. Formed in 1977, the 2 tone and ska band are one of the most exciting parts of the festival. They’re sure to put on a massive show, after touring the UK extensively in 2019. Their eight studio album Encore topped the UK Charts just last month. This made Encore their first chart topping album since 1980!
Saturday will see Cornbury favourites, Keane headline. With four number one albums and a slew of chart hits behind them, Keane went on hiatus in 2013. However, as of last year, they’re back in action. The rock band will be lighting up the festival with one of their first full performances in a long time!
Sunday headliners are The Beach Boys. The Californian rockers have been around for more than half a century! It’s no small feat to be one of the most celebrated and influential bands worldwide during the last five decades. With 30 studio albums in their repertoire, you’re sure to be in for a treat as they close the festival!
There are many more acts coming soon!
What else does Cornbury offer?
Music isn’t all that’s on offer. The Cornbury Music Festival is one-of-a-kind: a lovingly crafted, top notch, very English open air party, tailor-made for the whole family. The Cornbury Music Festival is described as a ‘homespun melting pot where music-lovers share pies and a glass of champagne with superstars, toffs, rockers, crooners, Morris dancers, farmers, urbanites, fashionistas, gourmet chefs and little old ladies who make exceptional cakes.’
This year you’ll find The Hairy Biker and their amazing Festival Feast! This is a pop-up, wood-fired restaurant that offers an amazing three course menu and an in-house band!
There’s also a whole area devoted to therapy, healing and yoga, and tons of stuff for the kids to do!
VIP tickets are available, which offers an exclusive marquee to lounge in, free phone charger, exclusive loos and a bar, as well as terrace views of the Main Stage.
