“Owner” is Carla Prata’s newest single and the third single from ROOTS, the new EP of Prata. In this single Prata reveals a side that according to her “very few people know, I tried to sing in detail about my mindset in this current phase of my life, The amount of time and attention I put into these lyrics was intense. Just the beat itself was remade two times. The instrumental’s inspiration was Rema’s Corny but Beatoven’s vision somehow made it sound completely different. It is now my favourite song from ROOTS.

ROOTS symbolizes the origin and influences of the singer and, in addition to the diversity of musical styles, ROOTS is also a reflection of the experiences that Prata has had recently in her life. ROOTS is the first part of what will be the singer’s first album.
