Highly popular EDM star Calvin Harris and new kid on the block Lewis Capaldi are locked in for yet another battle for the top spot on the UK official singles chart.

Both artists from Scotland have been battling it out over the last couple of weeks. Capaldi just edged the number one spot last week. However, with the new week brings a new challenge for these two talented musicians. As a result, they are both leading the race for the highly desirable number one spot. That being said, current figures show that Calvin Harris is just in front as it stands with his huge track ‘Giant’ which also features Rag ‘n’ Bone Man.

On the other hand, figures show that there is not a great deal in the current positions. As a result, there is only 500 sales between both tracks at the midweek stage.

Lewis Capaldi who is still fairly new on the music scene is sending shockwaves across the music industry with his extremely emotive ‘Someone You Loved’.

Overall, Lewis Capaldi is leading on streams while Calvin Harris is ahead on downloads. Furthermore, both artists as well as fans will be eagerly awaiting the result of this weeks chart position. Also if the last week is anything to go by then we are in for an extremely tight race between these two huge tracks.
