Bring Me The Horizon seem to be teasing new music after mysterious billboard appears in London

A billboard was recently posted in central London that contains the text, “Do you wanna start a cult with me?” along with a phone number to call and some symbols at the top corners of the billboard which were previously used to market BMTH.

Bring Me the Horizon, often known by the acronym BMTH, are from Sheffield and formed in 2004. Now, after nearly three years of silence fans think the group might be about to return although not much can be understood when dialing the phone number because it connects callers to some creepy audio “Welcome to Mantra. Daniel speaking. Could I take your earth name please?” After a brief and disturbing pause, Daniel continues: “Your journey with Mantra begins now and I’m pleased to be able to share the beginning of your enlightenment with…”

The message is followed by shouting and “Daniel” asking, “What? What?” before more shouting and possible gunshots are accompanied by some distorted music, which may be a new song by Bring Me The Horizon. The clip then ends with a long beep and then a dial tone.

Those wanting to investigate further can open the website joinmantra.org, which appears to be recruiting for a cult called ‘Mantra’, while tempting and teasing that “salvation will return”. “But these things too have answers, and all we can tell you now is that you can be free. But first, we must piss you off. Salvation will return. 21 August 2018.”

There are few days left either to prepare for “Salvation” in case the world ends… or, we will be getting some new Bring Me The Horizon music on August 21 and potentially join their cult.   As it’s more likely though, that it’s just another elaborate and captivating setup for something fresh and new from this amazing band.
