‘Junkie Boy,’ Brian Barron’s latest offering, hits home!
Brian sounds wonderful, fusing several influences in a performance that takes the listener off the ground and catapults them to a realm of reflection. Brian’s vocals light a fire under the song. The music is also a fusion of all things fantastic, with a gently plucked guitar whose tone fills us with warmth. Similarly, the tapping click creates a slight groove that contributes to the track’s weight.
‘Junkie Boy’ has a lot of meaning, and while many people would link it solely with drug users, Brian goes much deeper! He explores addiction on a broader scale.
