Alex Michael, ‘Another Love’ – Single Review

Alex Michael, ‘Another Love’ – Single Review

‘Another Love’ is a damn strong debut single from singer/songwriter Alex Michael. It’s a calm indie track, with refined instrumentals and a heavy helping of Alex Michael’s soothing vocals. Half•Alive, ‘Still Feel’ – Single Review

Modern indie trio half•alive dropped the incredible ‘still feel.’ last summer. It made huge waves in the United States as well as hitting the U.K hard at their debut London show. ‘still feel’ is a special track. It’s one that’s infectious from the beginning, with unpredictability and a clashing range of sounds being its selling point. I know I like to call every song a ‘sad banger’, but it fits the bill. Everyone knows what…

Avril Lavigne, ‘Head Above Water’ – Album Review

It’s hard to expect much from an Avril Lavigne album these days. The world now remembers her for the ‘Hello Kitty’ controversy. This combined with the lackluster music she released in 2013 defined her more than  the pop royalty she rightfully is. But now after a 6 year break, a divorce with Chad Kroeger and a long battle with lyme disease, Avril is back. And she means business with her rawest and most honest album…
