ARRO, the Nashville musician, stopped by for a chat!

Colby: What Do You Enjoy Most About Being A Musician?

ARRO: Connecting with others through a shared experience! My favorite memories are all linked to music in some way, whether it’s the song that was on the radio while driving around with friends in High School or seeing my favorite band the Killers play to a festival crowd.

Colby: Which Track Of Yours Means The Most To You?

ARRO: Prism – I wrote this song while getting prepared to ask my high school sweetheart to marry me. The song is about growing up and getting to a mature point in your life to be able to make a commitment and how exciting that is!

Colby: The First-Ever Gig You Played, Can You Remember It? How Was It?

ARRO: It was a basement house show in high school, I was the drummer for my band and we had a very very very small following but it was a ton of fun!

Colby: What Do You Think Is The Key To Success As A Musician?

ARRO: Work ethic will always beat innate talent if that talent doesn’t work.  I don’t consider myself a technically good musician but I spend a lot of time and effort on the things that I’m not good at and also try to know when to bring in outside help to do the things that I simply can’t do.

Colby: If You Wasn’t A Musician, What Job Would You Be Doing?

ARRO: Anything dealing with interacting with people, whether that be a bartender or a nonprofit worker, as long as I’m connecting with and helping people that’s my favorite thing to do!
