BBC Radio1 Xtra’s Hot For 2019 – Aitch

He’s still at the beginning of his career, but Aitch has already captured himself a loyal fan base. His first single ‘Trust Me’ proved to be an absolute smash, earning 1.3 million views on GRM Daily’s YouTube channel and premiered on BBC Radio 1XTRA with DJ Target. Not only this, but the song has gone on to be a staple of national radio playlists.

Aitch surprised fans with a Christmas day drop ‘Miss Me With It’. It’s now sitting on over 300K views on his own channel. Aitch has been announced as one of 1Xtra’s Hot for 2019 artists.

Aitch 2019 is Worth the ‘Wait’

So his second single has quite a bit to live up to, doesn’t it? ‘Wait’, via Since 93 has already become a smash, with the video on its way to 300k views within two days. ‘Wait’ truly shows Aitch’s lyrical ability, with this tune taking a darker turn to his previous works. The Manchester MC hasn’t been afraid to show the different sides to him, reflected in this much moodier video. ‘Wait’ is a highly addictive track, it’s bold and that’s why his fans love it. They’re obsessing over this new release already, saying no one has come up quite like this since Mist.

He has proved that he makes nothing but catchy songs, but has managed to retain his naturally cheeky character. He has seen the likes of Annie Mac, Kenny Allstar, Rob Bruce, Wiley, Ghetts and Stormzy showing support for his artistry. Aitch’s breakout journey in the last few months has positioned as a newcomer to be excited about this year. Surely 2019 is to be his year.

He has the most liked Daily Duppy ever – now sitting on 2.2million views – his breakout freestyle, ‘Straight Rhymez,’ on 6.1 million views.’Wait’ is yet another reason why Aitch is one of the most promising acts of 2019.
