Christine & The Queens Announce Headline Show At London’s All Points East Festival

In what is set to be one of her biggest shows yet, Héloïse Letissier (aka Christine/Chris) has been confirmed as a headliner at Victoria Park’s All Points East Festival on Sunday 26th May 2019, topping an amazing bill including Metronomy, Maribou State, Beach House, Honne and Kurt Vile and the Violators.

Christine and the Queens are joining the bill alongside previously announced headliners The Chemical Brothers and Bon Iver, whilst unannounced by the festival, Bring Me The Horizon have confirmed that they will play the festival also at their Alexandra Palace show last week. The ten day festival will run from 24 May until 2 June, as well as All Points East’s free In The Neighbourhood community-focused midweek programme.

Earlier this year Christine and the Queens released her second studio album Chris to rave reviews, with a deluxe edition containing both French and English language versions of all tracks. Christine and the Queens has achieved unrivalled success this year with the release of ‘Girlfriend’ featuring Dâm-Funk, as well as other massive singles earning significant radio play in the UK, like ‘Doesn’t Matter’ and ‘5 Dollars’.

Christine and the Queens have just finished a UK tour, selling out venues across the country with her enigmatic and intoxicating performances whilst accompanied by a troop of backing dancers. These shows have lead to rave reviews in all major UK press outlets, with some commenting that these shows are some of the best of the year, going hand in hand with the mass amount of ‘End of Year’ list praise for Chris and ‘Girlfriend’. However, her Dublin show last week was cancelled due to Letissier falling ill during a long string of energetic shows.

Pre-sale tickets will be going on sale today, Wednesday 5 December, with general sale beginning at 9am on Friday 7 December. Be sure to get your tickets as this will be one gig you don’t want to miss!
